Just for the fun of it, my daughter and I took some illusion picture the other day while at a beach in the Daytona Beach area. We have no prior experience creating these beach illusion pictures, but we wanted to give it a try. It was actually kind of fun and we liked the way they turned out!

Creating a beach illusion picture (or anywhere) is all about having something close, and something farther away. For example, in the picture where it looks like she's balancing on my finger I am holding my finger up in front of me as I hold the camera. She is out a few feet in front of me, so it lines up to create the illusion.

There are many options, so give it a try and play around with it. You may just be surprised with what you create!
