Daytona Beach Bound was started and is run by Jacqueline Bodnar, a local award-winning professional writer. She is also a
Florida Master Naturalist. Jacqueline has had well over 3,000 articles published in magazines, newspapers, and other publications worldwide. She also has a vast array of professional writing experience covering thousands of projects that include sales letters, ghostwritten books, press releases, Web and ad copy, and more. She is also a professional blogger who is the author of "Starting Your Career as a Professional Blogger," and "Blueberry Steel." She has numerous blogs, including the popular local blog Volusia County Moms, and Florida Family Nature.  

Jacqueline, who is a Michigan native, moved to the Daytona Beach area in 2006 with her husband and two children, after spending nearly a decade living in Las Vegas, where she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (she's a Rebel!). She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science Studies (covering psychology, political science and history), as well as a Master of Professional Writing degree. She's also a Florida Master Naturalist.

She first fell in love with the Daytona Beach area after vacationing there with her grandparents for three weeks when she was 19. Her grandparents vacationed in Daytona Beach every winter for over 35 years, because after visiting many places throughout the state of Florida, it was the area they loved the most. 

When she's not writing, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her family, being out in nature, reading, hiking, RV camping, snorkeling the springs, sipping tea, and traveling.
